MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Teaching every student that they have worth and value beyond their mistakes lies at the core of who I aspire to be as an educator. Through personal experiences of my own, true learning occurs when one is able to value the learning moments as ways to better oneself.
Students have innate gifts and abilities that only they possess, and they should be lifted up in a way that inspires them to have the courage to remain true to themselves through trials.

MY CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
PHILOSOPHY
The three foundations of my classroom management philosophy are safety, connections, and problem-solving. Through the learning and implementation of daily procedures and routines, students will learn Conscious Discipline techniques that will help them regulate and acknowledge their own emotions and feelings that lead to their safety and the safety of those around them.
It is imperative that my students foster a sense of belonging in my classroom family. This will be carried out by establishing connections between the students, the teacher and school faculty, and the families of my students.
When in the classroom, students will learn to employ problem-solving techniques to resolve conflicts and find resolutions that are geared towards safety and fostering connections.
